In preparation for the surge in mineral related activity, a short course detailed mining school was conducted by Morumbi, at the Tunania village, Isina early in November 2011, and was attended by 37 students. Some of these students were selected as a result of their having an aptitude and interest in pursuing geological studies at both the field and more advanced geological supervisory level. Many from this group of 37 locals were from the Isina area, but the group also included invitees from Morumbi's other MOU prospect areas and all will be the core initial group to be employed on the Isina exploration project on the receipt of the Licence, if not before. Similar schools are planned in other partnered prospect areas to train locals to form the field crews to assist Morumbi geologists for exploration programs in those areas as exploration licenses are issued at Kopani and elsewhere.
